Since finishing university in 2022, I’d been using an Adobe Portfolio site for my work. Over time, my dislike for Adobe grew to the point where I stopped updating it entirely.

When Deno 2.0 launched—alongside its excellent static site builder Lume—I decided to rebuild my portfolio from scratch. Over a few months, with bursts of motivation here and there, I created a site I fully control and can host for free on GitHub Pages.

The process was mostly smooth, though getting barba.js and GSAP working in Deno took some figuring out. Now, updates are as simple as committing to Git, and I’m only ever one push away from publishing changes live.
